Analysis: Colon took over the team lead with his 12th win and is 3-1 with a 2.90 ERA in his last five starts. His next one comes Thursday against the Marlins, a team he hasn't faced since yielding two runs in five innings on June 4.

Analysis: The durable veteran now sports a solid 2.25 ERA while going 2-1 over his last four outings, though he was reached for five runs (two earned) in four innings in Monday's loss at Arizona. Colon is 1-1 with a 2.04 ERA in three 2016 meetings with Philadelphia, which the 43-year-old next faces Friday at home.

Analysis: The 43-year-old has been wildly inconsistent lately. Over his last eight starts, he's given up at least five runs in four of them while going 0-3. He's yielded a combined six runs in the other four starts while going 3-0.
|Aug. 5 9:57 AM PT10:57 AM MT11:57 AM CT12:57 PM ET12:57 ET16:57 GMT0:57 9:57 AM MST11:57 AM EST12:27 PM VEN20:57 UAE11:57 AM CT-Colon gave up a run and six hits without a walk in 6 2/3 innings against the Yankees on Thursday to earn his 228th victory, most among active players.
Analysis: As surprisingly good as the 43-year-old Colon has been, beware of a bad outing in his next one. In the outing following each of his three wins in July, he was tagged for at least five runs and didn't get past the fifth inning every time. His next two starts are scheduled to come against the Diamondbacks. The only time he's faced them in the past decade, Colon threw seven innings of two-run ball last season.
|July 27 12:12 PM PT1:12 PM MT2:12 PM CT3:12 PM ET15:12 ET19:12 GMT3:12 12:12 PM MST2:12 PM EST2:42 PM VEN23:12 UAE2:12 PM CT-Colon was brilliant in Tuesday's start against St. Louis, as the ageless righty yielded a run on three hits and struck out eight over seven innings to help the Mets earn a doubleheader split.
Analysis: Colon bounced back strongly from last Wednesday's start at Wrigley Field, where he was tagged for six runs in 4 1/3 innings of New York's 6-2 loss. The Mets have won the 43-year-old's last five starts at Citi Field, where he'll face the rival Yankees in Monday's Subway Series opener.

Analysis: Colon is struggling, going 1-1 with a 7.36 ERA in his last three starts.

Analysis: Colon, who celebrated his 43rd birthday in May, becomes the oldest All-Star since Mariano Rivera in 2013, when Rivera was age 43 years, seven months. The right-hander is 7-4 with a 3.28 ERA in 18 appearances (17 starts).

Analysis: Colon threw only four pitches in his last start Tuesday against Kansas City before being forced to leave the game with a bruised right thumb suffered when he was hit by a line drive. He has a 1.80 ERA in his last seven starts.
|June 21 1:37 PM PT2:37 PM MT3:37 PM CT4:37 PM ET16:37 ET20:37 GMT4:37 1:37 PM MST3:37 PM EST4:07 PM VEN0:37 UAE (+1)3:37 PM CT-Colon is not expected to miss his next scheduled start in Atlanta despite leaving in the first inning Tuesday against the Royals with a bruised thumb after getting hit by a line drive on his pitching hand.
Analysis: New York said X-rays were negative on the right-hander, who entered 3-0 with a 1.93 ERA in his last five starts. Manager Terry Collins says Colon is doing fine with good flexibility, good strength and just a little swelling in his thumb.
|June 17 8:37 AM PT9:37 AM MT10:37 AM CT11:37 AM ET11:37 ET15:37 GMT23:37 8:37 AM MST10:37 AM EST11:07 AM VEN19:37 UAE10:37 AM CT-Colon continues to defy age, taking a four-hit shutout into the eighth inning Wednesday and beating the Pirates. He allowed two runs and seven hits in 7 2/3 innings, striking out a season-high eight and walking none.

Analysis: The ageless right-hander is pitching as well as anyone on the Mets' staff, going 2-0 with a 1.80 ERA over his last four starts. However, he isn't providing many strikeouts with eight over that span.
